Nether Hall School

Head Teacher's Welcome

Welcome to our website, we hope you enjoy finding out about Nether Hall School.

On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors it is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to Nether Hall School. By way of a very brief introduction, we are a special school for 107 children aged 4-19 years who have severe, profound and multiple learning disabilities. In addition to their learning difficulties, many pupils have other needs associated with physical disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder and medical conditions.

Our entire school community is wholly committed to creating an environment where everyone can shine. I hope you enjoy exploring our website and that it gives you a flavour of the wonderful opportunities we all have to learn, develop and achieve together both academically and socially. It will also provide you with the information and news to keep you up to date with what is happening here in school.

If you are unable to find what you are looking for or require any further information, do please contact us via the details at the top of this page.

'There are trusting relationships between staff and pupils. This ensures that pupils are happy at school and feel confident to try new things. The staff know the pupils exceptionally well and challenge pupils to do their best'.
